Fulfillment Update

Just wanted to update everyone on what’s going on behind the scenes. I’m making progress. The book is done, and the Backer’s Limited Special Edition copies are slowly working their way through production and to the backers and subscribers here. The ebook has had some difficulties, but is coming along, too. I’m currently anticipating the first week of July to begin distributing print copies and ebooks.

Print copies are currently on order with Amazon and will be arriving in a week. Then, I will have to sign and pack everything so the process of fulfillment can begin.

The ebook version has been trickier than I anticipated. The graphics and formatting do not survive the ebook conversion process well, and the resulting ebook looks sloppy. For instance, in the print edition, some graphics are scaled to have half the image on one page and the other half on the facing page. I need to replace the two half images with one complete image. The title, author, and page number headings translated through in to the ebook, too. It looked awful. I’m working with some experts to resolve the issues.

In the meanwhile, I think readers will find it worth the wait, because I have a surprise…

Yes, select images in the ebook will be in color. Between it taking more time to get the ebook out than I anticipated and wanting to wait for the color images, It may be the first week of July before the ebook is ready to go.

My schedule the next couple of weeks is very busy. Next week, we’ll be kicking off the Summer Based Book Sale at Aetherczar.com, and I’ll be traveling to Chattanooga to participate at LibertyCon. On Friday June 23 at 4pm, I’ll be presenting, “What Physicists Don’t Know About Electromagnetism.” You’ll be able to catch me on Author’s Alley selling and signing books Saturday June 24 from 6pm to 9pm. Also, I have to be away traveling for work the week of June 26, which willdelay fulfillment further.

My best guess today is it will be the first week in July before everything gets unstuck and starts moving. Thanks for your patience and support!
