Announcing paid subscriptions.

No, it’s not another episode of the story. Instead, it’s an announcement that I’m offering paid subscriptions to The Wise of Heart.

The TLDR? The weekly story updates every Saturday will continue to be free. The story will be complete by the end of the year. Paid subscribers will receive subscriber-only content and extra benefits like being the first to receive the complete e-book and print editions. In particular, paid subscribers will also be able to receive special “Backers’ Editions” that can be distinguished from regular copies - while they last! Additional art and merchandise may be available. Subscription revenue will help me pay illustrator Elin Chancey.

Benefits of a Paid Subscription

Story episodes will continue to be freely available. All paid subscribers will receive additional special members-only bonus updates including sneak previews of upcoming art and behind-the-scenes content and background information.

Monthly subscriptions will be $8/month. Subscribers at this level will receive the e-book edition when ready, and the opportunity to purchase backer’s edition paperbacks and hardcovers at an appropriately discounted price.

Annual subscriptions are $80/year. Subscribers at this level will receive the e-book edition when ready, and a selection of backer’s edition paperbacks and/or hardcovers at no extra cost.

Founding Memberships are $240. In addition to the privileges of an annual subscriber, you will receive naming rights for a supporting character.

Creating good art is expensive and time consuming. It is a part-time endeavor for many creators who work other jobs. By backing my project, and similar projects by other creators whose work you enjoy, you encourage us to devote more time to creating the stories and art you love.
